As soon as I received it I was like a Star Wars nerd child on Christmas morning with a light saber. I ran around my house, going into CSI mode looking for hidden stains and maybe a hidden blood splatter (I maybe living in a murder house). Well my murder house tour with it was both frightening and humbling; I had a lot of 'yikes' moments. I am a bit of a clean freak and seeing those unseen, left me shaken.
If you have a new baby at home or are expecting soon and want to sanitized the house in preparation, this is a must have. I has strong beams and really points out those hidden stains. If you have pets, this should be your new best gadget to avoid embarrassment from embarrassing odors If you are a germaphobe, I will not suggest taking this to hotels or places where you will sleep over as you might have an apoplexy fit from the 'unseen' you might discover (lol), it will be easier and much safer for your sanity if you took your own bedding and towels.
This product definitely deliver what it promises, it pick out hidden stains and spilled fluids. The beam is strong and wide. It runs on 3 AA batteries (not included) and the flashlight has a wide head on the end to capture large spaces at once. It also has a wrist strap attached to it already. It has textured aluminum housing and not too heavy. The lens is plastic and the head also unscrews, so when opening the end hold it along the trunk, or you might end up opening the top and it has a spring balance that might send it flying if you are not careful.
